DERRY — Dating back approximately 35 years, the controversial Exit 4A project was once again the subject of debate during a public hearing Tuesday night. The hearing was held to discuss a plan to fund the final $1.16 million environmental impact study, which would take approximately 18 months to complete if approved.Former Council Chairman Thomas Cardon said there have been numerous starts and stops on the project over the years.“Unfortunately, I think that it is going to continue and there are going to be more amendments,” Cardon said.Instead of staying with CLD Consulting Engineers, he suggested the council hire another company to oversee the project.
