It was brought to my attention that some individuals believe this website only publishes information for candidates that I support. This is a completely false accusation. This years, as in years past, any candidate that would like information posted can send it and it will be posted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In years past I posted an announcement on the site stating information would be posted. I also frequently searched for candidate websites and Facebook pages and posted them. This year I emailed all candidates running for Town Office and asked if they would like to submit information. The candidates who responded were posted. A number of candidates chose not to respond. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The candidates who supplied information is identified by ‘Submitted by the candidates’. Early in the election season I did search and post a few candidates. After I sent out the email, I stopped searching for websites on candidates, assuming that notifying the candidate was sufficient. With only 15 days before the election I began search for candidates again. If a website or Facebook page is found it will be posted.
