It’s been 460 Days!<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On March 12, 2024 Article 17 passed by a vote of 2686 YES and 1430 NO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Residents of Londonderry asked to change the Planning Board from appointed positions to elected position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the 460 days since the election what has happened?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Virtually nothing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Planning Board has ignored the vote, I don’t believe they ever publicly discussed it. Former Town Council Chairman Chad Franz asked \u201cWhy is this article a good idea\u201d<\/a>. Other Town Councilors have questioned if the article was legal and other have simply made excuses and dragged their feet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There was no expiration date on the warrant article. It’s time for the Town Council to move this forward and do what the resident of Londonderry asked!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n
