Former Town Councilor John Farrell has applied for an open position on the Planning Board<\/a>. Farrell is one of nine candidates interested in serving on the board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PLANNING BOARD<\/strong>
Open Positions:
Two (2) Three-Year Full Member Positions
One (1) Three-Year Alternate Position

Applicants:
Jason Knights (current full member) would like an alternate position only
Ryan Ouelette (current alternate member)
Ralph Brutus (new applicant)
Patrick Lawrence Cheetham (new applicant) \u2013 would like an alternate position only
John Farrell (new applicant)
Christa Guiney (new applicant)
Victoria Kimbler (new applicant)
Denise M Nash (new applicant)
Kristine Perez (new applicant)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Farrell had previously served on the Planning Board before running for Town Council in 2010. During his term on the council Farrell was opposed to reinstating Impact Fees. As a Planning Board member Farrell took part in the creating of the first Planned Unit Development that led to the approval of Woodmont Commons. As part of a task-force Farrell was aware of the pending sale of Woodmont Orchards prior to the final approval of the PUD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Town Council<\/a> is scheduled to interview applicants at their 11\/17\/2025 meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
