In recent weeks there has been a perceived uptick in police calls for service at Wallace Farms<\/a>, an apartment complex located off of Perkins Road near Rte 28, that has resulted in social media posts around our community. Anytime a large group of people live in a consolidated area, like apartment buildings or condo associations, you are likely to see a black and white police cruiser with some degree of frequency more than you would a less populated residential street.<\/p>

And, just because you see a marked police cruiser does not mean that a crime is afoot. We often serve sub poenas (or other court paperwork) to witnesses of crimes for other police departments, make message deliveries during times of crisis outside of our community, or make occasional \u201cdrive thru\u2019s\u201d to deter vandalism and to make community contacts. With warmer weather now approaching, our officers enjoy having face-to-face interactions with our residents and consolidated areas of population like these are a great way to meet our community members.<\/p>

I often receive phone calls from people looking to move into Londonderry asking me about certain areas of town. My response is always the same: I wouldn\u2019t deter anyone from moving into any area of our community as no part is a \u201cbad area of town.\u201d Elm Grove Properties, the firm who manages Wallace Farms, wishes to be good corporate partners with the Town of Londonderry and works with your police and fire departments when concerns arise. The same can be said about most, if not all, residential associations in our community.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
