While some officials expressed frustration over the perceived lack of progress, the administration emphasized that this is a\u00a0strategic postponement\u00a0rather than an abandonment of the work. Current initiatives, such as\u00a0digital permitting and public safety preparedness, will continue under existing authorities while the plan is refined. The goal is to return in early 2027 with a\u00a0more concise framework\u00a0that can effectively guide the development of the 2029 budget.
