Why is Londonderry NOT<\/strong> participating in this event on 9\/11\/2026? A request to the Town Council has, once again, gone unanswered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NHMA supports maintaining local government authority without infringement by the state and supports measures that enable municipalities to exercise existing authority more efficiently and with greater discretion. NHMA also supports state-local partnership and coordination in addressing common issues.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only one official from each municipality may serve as the voting delegate.<\/strong> If more than one local official from the same municipality registers as the delegate, NHMA will assign the delegate by honoring the following hierarchy:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mayor\/Select Board Chair\/Council Chair
Mayor Pro Tem\/Vice or Assistant Mayor\/ Select Board Vice Chair\/ Council Vice Chair
Alderman\/Councilor\/Selectman
City or Town Manager\/ Town Administrator\/ Administrative Assistant<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Municipal officials who are not the designated voting delegate are still permitted to attend.
