NHDES provided the funding through the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA), the Drinking Water and Groundwater Trust Fund (DWGTF), the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) and the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF). NHDES has offered over $150 million in funding for more than 260 projects, which are in the process of finalizing their proposals to NHDES for submission to the Governor and Executive Council for approval. More information about the projects that have recently been approved is below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Alphabetical list of cities, towns, or entities receiving funds:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Hampton &#8211;&nbsp;<\/strong>Clean Water Infrastructure:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>ARPA Grant: $1,840,000<\/li><li>CWSRF Loan: $13,860,000<\/li><li>Total project cost: $15,700,000<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Plymouth Village Water and Sewer District &#8211;&nbsp;<\/strong>Drinking Water Infrastructure:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>ARPA Grant: $1,169,600;<\/li><li>DWSRF Loan: $235,000;<\/li><li>DWGTF Grant: $200,000;<\/li><li>DWGTF Loan: $1,000,000;<\/li><li>Total project cost: $2,604,600<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Whispering Brook Homeowners Association, Bartlett \u2013&nbsp;<\/strong>Drinking Water Infrastructure:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>ARPA Grant: $60,000<\/li><li>DWSRF Loan: $240,000<\/li><li>Total project cost: $300,000<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Background:<\/strong><br>ARPA is a $1.9 trillion economic stimulus bill to speed up the United States\u2019 recovery from the economic health effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and the resultant recession.
