At the April 24, 2023 Town Council meeting resident Kristine Perez took issue with comments made at the previous April 10 meeting. The video below has been edited to include only comments made by Perez and Councilor Butler. The full length video can be found here<\/a>. In the video Perez calls out the lack of decorum during the previous meeting and asks for an apology. Her request is met with a resounding ‘I will not apologize, because what I said is the truth’. from Councilor Butler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I take issue with several of Butler’s statements. While Butler has personally attacked individuals, by name, myself being one Butler continues to make general statements. Butler claims there are taunting emails, but provide no examples. Speaking for myself I have sent very few emails to the Town Council. I will be publishing all emails sent to the council in another post. All comments I have made have been in public during public comment. Butlers stated on April 10 ‘we get nothing done it too negative we have to get by all this crap and move on’ apparently due to all the negative comments over the last 6 to 12 months. In total I have spoken during public comment in 2023 on 3\/6, 3\/20, and 4\/10. In reviewing Town Council minutes from 2022 I did not speak during public comment at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
