This is the communication Ms.<br>Paul was provided access to on today\u2019s date. The document the Paul is seeking was from 3\/13\/2023 the day before Town Elections and Councilor Paul&#8217;s last day as a Town Councilor, since she was not running for reelection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Chairman Farrell the town will be spending thousands of dollars in Superior Court. Why?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the document was &#8216;correspondence from Councilor John Farrell to Councilor Deb Paul&#8217; why is the Town refusing to turn it over? Was Councilor Paul an employee or an elected official? Even if this was a &#8217;employee document&#8217; shouldn&#8217;t the person refernced by it be allowed a copy of the document? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p><em><strong>91-A:1 Preamble. \u2013<\/strong>&nbsp;Openness in the conduct of public business is essential to a democratic society.
