At Monday nights&#8217; meeting the council discussed changing the Town Treasurer from an elected to an appointed position. Current Town Treasurer Kathy Wagner spoke in favor of the change. The Council has opted to continue discussion on the topic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Why is the council discussing this again? The Town has already considered and voted on this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In March the town voted down Article 2. An amendment to change the Town Charter failed at the polls on 3\/14\/2023, 800 voted in favor and 999 voted against the article.
