The committee has been reviewing the condition of 10 athletic fields at the High school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The District received an initial scope of work and estimate from <a href=\"https:\/\/huntressassociates.com\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/huntressassociates.com\/\">Huntress Associates Inc<\/a> of $58,450.00 and will seek additional estimates before returning to the School Board. The Superintendent stated this could be part of next years budget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Project Description<\/strong><br>The project consists of preparing a feasibility study to assess the opportunities and constraints<br>associated with improving the use\/condition of the Athletic Fields and a 400m running track at<br>Londonderry High School Complex in Londonderry, New Hampshire. Masterplan design<br>services include the evaluation of up to ten (10) natural grass fields, including seven (7) existing<br>multi-purpose natural grass fields, two (2) baseball fields, one (1) softball field, and one (1)<br>400m running track and associated field events. The scope of work includes the evaluation of<br>up to two (2) fields suitable for conversion to synthetic turf, an overview of ADA compliance<br>throughout the complex, and a review of the current condition of all existing bleacher seating.<br><strong>Base Plan Development<\/strong><br>HAI to use available resources for the development of a suitable base plan. Available resources<br>include Londonderry GIS data, NHDES Mapping, and other publicly available sources.<br>Topographic survey, boundary survey, wetland delineation, and geotechnical investigation are<br>not included in this scope.<br><strong>Letter Report and Associated Documents<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Huntress Associates, Inc. will document the existing conditions and provide recommendations<br>for improvements to each field.<br><strong>Letter Report:<\/strong> HAI to provide a letter report for each of the ten (10) fields. The report will<br>include the following:<br>a. Written analysis of existing conditions and recommendations for field improvements.<br>b. Ground and aerial photos of each field.<br>c. Topsoil analysis for each field, including particle size analysis, organic matter, soil<br>pH, and overall performance evaluation.<br>d. Construction cost estimate<br><strong>Synthetic Turf Fields.<\/strong> HAI to provide a detailed review of up to two (2) fields for the potential<br>improvements to include synthetic turf, bleachers, sports lighting and associated site<br>improvements. Schematic plans will be provided at a scale of 1\u201d = 20\u2019 showing the proposed site<br>improvements, field sizes, bleacher seating, and egress\/access to and from the fields.<br><strong>Master Plan Drawings:<\/strong> HAI to provide an overall site master plan outlining recommended<br>improvements to existing facilities, including walkways, fences, and parking areas. Schematic<br>plans will be provided at a scale of 1\u201d = 50\u2019 showing the proposed site improvements, field sizes,<br>bleacher seating, and egress\/access to and from the fields.
