{"id":7570,"date":"2024-01-17T06:07:08","date_gmt":"2024-01-17T11:07:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/townunderground.com\/?p=7570"},"modified":"2024-01-18T06:19:06","modified_gmt":"2024-01-18T11:19:06","slug":"town-article-7-establish-and-fund-municipal-separate-storm-sewer-system-ms4-expendable-trust-fund","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/townunderground.com\/?p=7570","title":{"rendered":"Town, Article 7: Establish and Fund Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Expendable Trust Fund"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>After the final Public Hearing and input from the public the Town Council voted 5 \u2013 0 to support Article 7 and move it to the Deliberative Session on 2\/10\/2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Article 7: [Establish and Fund Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Expendable Trust Fund]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To see if the town will vote to establish a Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (&#8220;MS4&#8221;) Expendable Trust Fund per RSA 31: 19-a, to assist in funding the Town&#8217;s obligations, as mandated by the Clean Water Act and other laws and\/or regulations to develop and maintain a comprehensive stormwater management program and to raise and appropriate <strong>ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS $100,000<\/strong> to be put into the fund; further to name the Town Council as agents to expend from said fund (Majority vote required)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>(If passed, this article will require the town to raise $100,000 in property taxes, resulting in a tax rate impact of $0.016 in FY 25 based upon projected assessed values.)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Town Council by a vote of 5-0 recommends a YES vote;
