After the final Public Hearing and input from the public the Town Council voted 5 \u2013 0 to support Article 12 and move it to the Deliberative Session on 2\/10\/2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To see if the town will vote to raise an appropriate SEVENTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($75,000) <\/strong>to be placed in the Pillsbury cemetery expansion capital reserve fund and further to authorize the use of TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($25,000) <\/strong>from the June 30 unassigned fund balance toward this appropriation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n (If passed, this article will require the town to raise $25,000 in property taxes, resulting in a tax rate impact of $0.008 in FY 25 based upon projected assessed values.)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Town Council by a vote of 5-0 recommends a YES vote; the Budget Committee by a vote of 7-0 recommends a YES vote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
