{"id":8772,"date":"2024-06-05T06:20:05","date_gmt":"2024-06-05T10:20:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/townunderground.com\/?p=8772"},"modified":"2024-06-05T06:21:28","modified_gmt":"2024-06-05T10:21:28","slug":"town-council-discusses-article-20-recording-public-meetings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/townunderground.com\/?p=8772","title":{"rendered":"Town Council Discusses Article 20, Recording Public Meetings"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Town Council continued its questioning of the voters at the 6\/3\/2023 council meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Article 20 which passed by a vote Yes \u2013 3204 \/ No 933 is relatively simple:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>ARTICLE NO. 20: [AMEND LONDONDERRY MUNICIPAL CODE TITLE I \u2013 GENERAL CODE I SECTION 8.13.A]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Shall the Town vote to amend the Londonderry Municipal Code Title I \u2013 General Code I Section 8. 13. A. Meetings: to insert the words \u201cand all official town meeting shall be recorded\u201d This will allow the general public to access the recording at a time most convenient to them, to ensure access for all citizens to all committees\u2019 meetings. (BY CITIZENS\u2019 PETITION)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The article asks that all town meetings be recorded so residents could view the meeting if they were unable to attend.
