HB 1002<\/a>, a bill to charge fees for access to public information becomes law on August 13, 2024.\u00a0Londonderry appears to be setting fees in advance of the new law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RESOLUTION 2024-22<\/strong>
A Resolution Relative to
Establishing a Fee Schedule for Photocopying and Scanning<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WHEREAS<\/strong> the Town of Londonderry adheres to the legal requirements established by RSA 91-A:4 in regards to minutes and governmental records available for public inspection; and,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WHEREAS<\/strong> citizens of Londonderry are able to access and review many Town records online and in electronic form at no cost; and,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WHEREAS<\/strong> both the act of creating digital copies of physical records on request and providing copies of governmental records is an expense to the taxpayers; and,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WHEREAS<\/strong> citizens pay for many of the services they receive from the Town such as sewer, permits, etc;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED<\/strong> by the Town Council of the Town of Londonderry that the Council delegates to the Town Manager the authority to establish a fee schedule for photocopying and scanning, subject to review and adjustment each fiscal year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PHOTOCOPYING & SCANNING FEE SCHEDULE<\/strong>
Fiscal Year 2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Printing & Photocopying:<\/strong>
B&W documents up to 8.5×11* $0.50 per page for the first ten (10) pages of a document; $.10 per page thereafter<\/p>\n\n\n\n

B&W documents larger than 8.5×11 $1.00 per page<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Color documents up to 8.5×11* $1.00 per page for the first ten (10) pages of a document; $.25 per page thereafter<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Color documents larger than 8.5×11 $2.00 per page<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scanning**<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Documents up to 11×14* $0.50 per page for the first ten (10) pages of a document; $.10 per page thereafter<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Documents larger than 11×14 $2.00 per page<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Please note that the charge is per document and not per request. For example, if a person requests black-and-white copies of a 20-page document and a 10-page document, the charge would be $11.00; $6.00 for the first one ($.50 x 10 plus $.10 x 10) and $5.00 for the second one.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

**Scanned documents must be delivered via email, Dropbox, or a Town-supplied flash drive (provided at cost). Absolutely no personal external storage devices are permitted to be connected to Town computers.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
