The video below is in response to former Town Councilor Jim Butlers questioning of ‘Who is running the town’<\/a> during public comment on 11\/12\/2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Town Councilor Chairman, Chad Franz, addressed the question stating the council is actively and aggressively working on next steps. Councilor Shawn Faber followed that the are following the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why is the Council not addressing the plan of replacing the Fire Chief and Town Manager in public? Does the public not have a right to know what qualifications, interview process, and when these positions will be posted? If the Council is actively working on the replacement it’s all behind closed doors, where is the transparency? Should residents have any say in who is appointed the next Town Manager or Fire Chief?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
