Candidate for Budget Committee Matt Tapley for Londonderry Budget Committee Facebook page
February 17,2026
I’m running for one of the three-year term positions on the Londonderry Budget Committee.
This year marks 13 years living in Londonderry, and my family and I have really come to call this town home. We have two daughters, and like many families here, the decisions the town makes directly affect how we live, work, and plan for the future.
I previously worked in Londonderry and have spent most of the past 22 years working in the surrounding area. I still work locally and see firsthand how town budget decisions affect families, residents, and local employers.
Our family is involved in the community, including my wife’s ongoing role as the coach for the Londonderry High School Color Guard.
For work, I’m a Director of Program Management and part of the senior management team at my company. I spend a lot of time working on budgets, planning, and execution in a regulated environment. I also serve on an alumni board at WPI.
I have an MS in Engineering from WPI and an MBA from UNH, and before moving to Londonderry I served on the board of my condo association, where I worked on budgeting and long-term planning.
If elected, I’ll take a practical approach to decision-making, focus on clear communication, and ask the right questions to get to solutions that make sense for the town.
