July 7, 2022
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Kevin Smith served the Town of Londonderry diligently and with integrity. As Town Manager, Kevin Smith worked well with Town employees and the Londonderry Town Council. During Mr. Smith’s tenure as Town Manager, Londonderry continued to be New Hampshire’s finest municipality through the combined efforts of the Town Council, Kevin Smith, and the Town’s employees.
The Londonderry Town Council is apolitical. It does not engage in partisan politics. The Town Council believes that Londonderry’s voters should decide who deserves their votes without influence from the Town Council. The Town Council neither endorses nor disparages political candidates on the federal, state, or local level. The September primary and November election are not exceptions.
Since Kevin Smith announced his candidacy for United States Senate, the Town has received many requests for information or comment on a wide variety of matters. The Town responds to all requests for information without regard for the identity of the requestor or the subject matter and consistent with the State’s Right-to-Know law, RSA 91-A. The Town Council does not comment on specific matters that involve current or former Town personnel or that otherwise may be exempt from disclosure under the Right-to-Know law. The Town, through the Town Manager’s office, responds to all written requests for information in a timely manner.
