At the 6/1/2026 Town Council meeting, resident Kevin Smith publicly accused the Londonderry Times of biased and inaccurate reporting regarding a recent land development hearing. Smith highlighted a potential conflict of interest, noting that the newspaper is owned by Councilor Paul and receives municipal funding for advertising. He specifically disputed a claim that he spoke in favor of a the Woodmont Commons project, asserting that his prior comments were strictly focused on correcting misleading statements made by the Councilor. In response, Councilor Paul defended the journalistic integrity of her publication, maintaining that their reports are based directly on official meeting minutes. She dismissed the allegations of bias and challenged Smith to provide documented evidence if he sought a formal correction regarding the town’s financial dealings.
With all these ‘misleading statements’ why are there never any letters to the editor or request for a correction?

I heard Deb Paul offer a correction if KS could show her where the paper had gone wrong however KS walked away. Appeared KS was grandstanding rather that he truly felt wronged.
