For too long citizens voices have been ignored by the Town Council. Attempting to exercise your right to be heard gets you nowhere. Your emails will be met with silence, your questions at public comment will go unanswered, and all of the real business is conducted behind the scenes out of the view of the public. There is no exception to this.
Not only that, but we have an incumbent who thinks himself to be the king. He has used the gavel to silence citizens he disagrees with, sent manipulative private emails about Town Business, and appointed himself a legal liaison with no vote. He hides in the shadows at Town meetings, scheming and plotting. He has also voted on a budget in various years that includes increases in his wife’s salary, without recusing himself.
Enough is enough. In this time of uncertainty and unchecked growth, we need common sense and transparency. Deb Paul gave us that once upon a time when she sat on the council. I believe she will give us common sense and transparency again.
Richard Bielinski has lived in this community longer than most and is a frequent fixture at Town meetings. He calls it as he sees it, has a strong sense of justice and doing what is right, and always shows up for the citizen and brings receipts.
Now more than ever, we need a change. We don’t need any more of the same. We don’t need an incumbent.
We need Deb Paul and Richard Bielinski For Town Council.
