Londonderry is seeking residents to serve on several boards and committees. If you want to meet great people, learn how the Town works, and make visible impact, this is a great place to start. Applicants must be Londonderry residents.
Leach Library Trustees
Openings: One full member position (expires March 2027)
Meets: First Wednesday or Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. and as needed
Help lead one of the community’s most valued institutions by setting library policies, overseeing library funds, and helping ensure the library stays strong, useful, and welcoming for the whole community.
Supervisors of the Checklist
Openings: One full member position (expires March 2027)
Meets: As required by state law and as needed
Help protect the integrity of local elections by registering eligible voters, correcting the voter checklist, and serving at required public sessions before elections and at the polls on election day.
Zoning Board of Adjustment
Openings: One alternate position (expires December 2027)
Meets: Third Wednesday of the month, 7 p.m.
Help make fair, practical decisions about local development by hearing appeals, reviewing requests for variances and special exceptions, and applying zoning rules to real properties and real neighborhood impacts.

Old Home Day Directors
Openings: One two-year full member position
Meets: TBD by the board as needed
Old Home Day is one of Londonderry’s signature traditions and a true community-builder. Board members help guide planning, partnerships, and big-picture decisions that keep the event strong year after year.
Pettengill Road TIF Advisory Board
Openings: One full member position
Meets: TBD by the board as needed
Help guide the planning and operation of Londonderry’s Tax Increment Financing District, ensuring smart growth and economic development. Members review reports and recommend improvements that keep the district thriving and compliant with its development program.
Recreation Commission
Openings: One full member position (expires December 2027)
Meets: Second Monday of each month, 7:30 p.m.
Help shape the programs, events, and facilities that keep Londonderry active and connected. This is hands-on community building with visible results, and plenty of chances to work with staff and volunteers who get things done.
