At the 1/12/2024 Town Council Meeting the Recreation Department will be asking for approval for the purchase of a new Toro Workman GTX with upgraded seats, brush guard, and plastic bed.

I was on the Recreation Commission for 9 years, in all that time I can’t recall any discussion of needing this type of vehicle. The Capital Reserve fund that is being used to fund this purchase was intended for maintenance of existing equipment. Is the $917 upgrade of bucket seats and brush guards needed?
