In preparation for the CIP Meeting Agenda, 12/12/2024 I reviewed this years CIP activity. although the committee will be reviewing $170,135,400 in potential projects there has been little activity. The committee is required to hold a minimum of six meetings per year, to date, only one meeting took place. The meeting on 6/24/2024 officers were elected and members discussed better communication and a wish to keep other boards up to date with projects. The Assistant Town Manager noted that the CIP Plan needed to be completed by the fall before ‘Budget Season’ to be used a a budgeting tool. Former Town Manager Michael Malaguti said he wanted to be more involved in committee. All of this sounds great.
