Londonderry State Rep Kristine Perez new Housing Committee in Concord
Representative Kristine Perez voices her strong opposition to several proposed state housing bills in New Hampshire. She believes these bills, particularly Senate Bills 84 and 163, would remove essential local control over zoning and development from individual towns. Perez argues that a one-size-fits-all approach is detrimental given the varied nature of New Hampshire communities and expresses concern that towns would be prevented from enacting necessary measures like moratoriums. She urges constituents to contact their representatives immediately through the gencourt.org website to oppose these “control bills.”
Thank-you to Representative Perez, but why are we not hearing from other State Reps?
