The Town of Londonderry, NH, is seeking a Clerk’s Assistant. This position reports directly to the Town Clerk with ancillary reporting duties to the Tax Collector. The Clerk’s Assistant is responsible for providing essential administrative support to the Town Clerk and Tax Collector, specifically focusing on the accurate processing of motor vehicle registrations, the collection of various municipal taxes, and the maintenance of vital Town records. The position involves performing detailed clerical and financial duties, including reconciling cash drawers, issuing permits and licenses in accordance with State laws, and assisting with the logistical preparation and execution of local and State elections.
This is a full-time 40 hours per week with additional hours required position. This position is non-exempt and is eligible for overtime compensation. The hourly wage range is $24.09 – $29.41 per hour.
