The Heritage/Historic District Commission will be holding an unposted Public Hearing concerning the removal of the barn on 2 Litchfield Road on Friday 10/25/2024 at 7PM.
As of 10/23/2024 the hearing has not been posted on the Town calendar, or the legal notice page and it was not published in the Londonderry Times.
At the 10/21/2024 Town Council meeting the Council approved adding an additional alternate member. At the meeting it was stated that commission needed to hold more meetings. Meetings have been a challenge due to quorum requirements that cannot be met. There was no mention of the special meeting.
The Heritage Commission denied a previous request on 7/25/2024.
Is the meeting actually unposted? To adhere to the letter of the law the meeting must be posted at Town Hall and a local paper. Did the town bury the posting in the Union Leader?
